The Frederick News-Post's editorial on Delauter is the first thing I read when I woke up this morning. Great way to start the day.

his "retraction" if you want to call it that is pretty priceless, too. I'm local and that is some funny shit around these parts!

I actually liked his apology. Straightforward. Admits he was in the wrong. It makes him look genuinely forgivably human, rather than wretchedly human. Of course, he may still be the latter. But the apology was a breath of fresh air compared to the many political apologies that read: "I'm sorry if some people were offended..."
