Is there any anime that's actually good, besides Death Note?

And is also on Netflix?
Because... I've tried to watch some, and so far it's... not good. At all. Stupid humor. Awkward dialogue. Dumb characters. Nonexistent plot. The female characters are all essentially submissive male sex fantasies. Etc.
I'm kinda hoping there are some that are good. Recommendations? I'm not really looking for any with an "epic" feel or grand scope, because that's a euphemism for "boring". Although there might be exceptions, I guess.

I think Eva Yojimbo is into anime - his screen name is some sort of character. And Gendo is named after an anime character too I think.
People here like Dragonball Z, but I think it's stupid. Dunno if it's on Netflix either.
I'm sure this wasn't the least bit helpful, but you told us to post more, so you're welcome.

I don't know. Bruce mentioned Eva and Gendo and a certain anime they liked. It's Neon Genesis.
I don't watch such things! I have tried though, I do plan to seeing Death Note some day, but it takes me a while to develop interest in a series, if I develop any interest, then I might lose it over the tiniest silliest crap. That's why no anime has passed my test. I watch for a while then I over hear the whole over expression... ugh no. just no.

Ir probably goes without saying that Evangelion is my favorite anime. And I'm certainly not in a small percentage here; it has a huge following. It's a mix between your basic giant robot vs giant monster thing, and deep philosophical and theological mythos. Just watch it.

I....did not like it. My girlfriend back when I was high school was really, really into anime and she made me watch that with her. I regularly fell asleep. Most of the anime I've enjoyed was what was shown on Toonami. So...Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, DB/DBZ, Gundam Wing, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. I don't think any of those are on Netflix, unfortunately.

I've watched Highschool of the Dead, Highschool DxD, Ikki Tousen (all heavy with the fanservice), Code Geass, Vampire Knight, Black Butler and Blue Exorcist. Enjoyed pretty much all of them. H.O.T.D is good, even without the ecchi.

So, in answer to OP... no, then?
