She elaborated on Reddit that she's intersexed with Kallmann Syndrome - XX chromosomes, female reproductive system, presumably ambiguous genitalia because her parents were given a choice and decided to raise her as a boy, but her body didn't go through puberty due to an inability to produce sex hormones. The article wasn't as specific, but did say she was genetically female.
Commenters are still going 'BUT HIS DNA WILL ALWAYS BE MALE, DNA NEVER LIES'. I'm almost impressed. I mean, the very headlines say otherwise.
I assumed that this comments section would at least be free of those comments (and the similar 'when he can change his chromosomes to XX, I'll believe he's a woman'), but I obviously had too much faith in the internet.
