I'm going to kill a groundhog tomorrow and name it Ricky Gervais. It's always unsettling when people I like turn out to be ignorant pieces of shit. Of course, we could have done without Rebecca Francis lying down next to the dead giraffe and smiling. If that was the only complaint Gervais had then he'd be less of an asshat. That wasn't his only complaint as he went on to insult all hunters based on nothing but his own abysmal ignorance. I'd rather deal with creationists than these delusional fucktards. These assholes deserve ridicule, huge fines, and prison sentences. In this case it should be about seven years on a chain gang and a $25 billion fine.

Um where? I'm reading the article and he said, "We need to stamp out this terrible sexism in the noble sport of trophy hunting. The men & women that do it are EQUALLY vile & worthless." I even searched on the page for "all hunters" and didn't find anything.

I went to another linked page and he posted tweets that said, "I wish people would stop confusing hunting to eat and hunting for thrills, tusks, or to hang an endangered species on the fucking wall." Which sort of makes it clear that he doesn't mean all hunters.

I even googled Ricky Gervais and "all hunters" and haven't found anything where he says "all hunters". So where did he say that?

Hmm, you may be right. I might have confused the headline of the article for his actual words. Still, being a supporter of PETA isn't a good sign.
