Reading on the bus can lead to headaches and motion sickness, though.

I'd even go with saying all of Canada is stupid and that we should bomb it to oblivion. But that is just me.

She says she was told reading posed a risk to other students on the bus.
A little learning is a dangerous thing, so he's not wrong
He suggested they might stand up to see what she was reading, or she might poke herself in the eye with the corners of the book.
Alright, I have hit myself in the face with a book before so I'm going to let that one pass.

At least Canada is a real country since most of it is English-speaking and it takes more than a few hours to drive from one side to the other.

If we bombed all the 3rd world 'countries', we'd solve the 3rd work problem.

Here's an easy way to identify real countries:
All English speaking countries except Belize.
Japan
Germany
Brazil (only because it's the largest country on a continent full of fake countries that need to be put in their place)

The three work problems:
1) There is work
2) You have to do the work
3) You have to do the work now.

Well she didn't post that much, but now she doesn't post at all, which is worse.

Someone should tell her to stop playing Skyrim. There are better games in the world.
Also, she's the only Canadian I will spare when the revolution comes, so there is that!

Skyrim is boring and overrated. I'm playing Dragon Age. Dragon Age is better.

I got bored with the new Dragon Age after 2 or 3 weeks. I've played Skyrim obsessively for nearly 4 years and I'm still obsessed.

Well you are crazy. I kind of like interacting with NPC's and build relationships in game to make up for the fact I have no friends in real life. You guys are like my NPC's.
Skyrim was like a cold world to me, couldn't attach or care.

Yeah, Dragon Age has much more in depth dialogue and fleshed out characters and shit, but in Skyrim I just imagine the dialogue and the details of my character's interactions with the NPC's. Skyrim lets me build my character a thousand different ways and write a different story in my head every time, and mod the game into something like The Sims in medieval fantasy land. With mods, I'm not even playing as the Dragonborn most of the time. My character is a simple blacksmith or a waitress or a farmer or an evil sorcerer or a serial killer or a hunter etc.
TL; DR - yes, I'm crazy

Yes... you are.
But in all honesty. I played Skyrim between Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, as a way to kill time while I waited for the release of ME3. So that might have skewed my enjoyment since I was just passing time. After Mass Effect 3 came out my brother asked me if he could wipe the saved games or whatever for Skyrim and I said "Yeah, didn't like it." And he was like " But you played it for hours, for months!"
Me:
Well... I guess Skyrim does have SOME power.

I didn't know Caly didn't like DA. This helps balance out her mistake in thinking Civ5 is better than Civ4.

Maybe you should just play The Sims: Medieval

Didn't know they had that, but it's not probably not as good as Skyrim. For example, you probably can't slay a dragon in your backyard and go dungeon diving on your day off. I tried playing The Sims once and got bored really quick.

I don't understand the point of games where you can't wipe entire cultures out of existence and raze their cities to the ground just because they won't give you oil, aluminum and uranium in exchange for incense.

See, people think I'm with you because I love you but actually it's because I recognise when a man's ruthlessly pragmatic attitude to city-razing will work in my favour. Aels for Supreme Global President 2016.

Have you played Europa Universalis IV? Because I imagine that would feed into your desire for wiping out nations and cultures. Also, any of the most recent Total War games. In Attila you literally can raze settlements to the ground and watch as they burn to a cinder upon the campaign map.

No, I never have liked time-based games. I always prefer turn-based. Are any of those turn-based?

the Total War games are turn based. There's the campaign strategy map where you build up towns and cities, then there's the battle map where you can control units in war against enemies. See below gameplay video for examples (first video I found in youtube):

I'll watch the video later. My anxiety is a little too high right now for a 27 minute video. But I might try it out the next time I have money. If I don't like it I can always send the LAT after you.

Fair enough, but no need to watch the whole 27 minutes. The guy is just talking rubbish for most of it. I just skip to the battles
