A colleague of my girlfriend's was killed in a murder-suicide yesterday

Also, my girlfriend accidentally filleted her hand last week with broken glass whilst doing dishes...and I had to rush her to the er. Twas pretty deep and gruesome. Docs say she sliced a tendon and barely missed an artery.
What the fuck is going on?

She's doing alright. Had to get stitches, of course. But It's worse than we thought because she'll need physical therapy on her hand.
Wizards?? That's poppycock. Must be some kind of sorcerer.
