Because of cops murdering black people. And they are happening right after the other without giving time to forget about them.

Do you think this will start another huge movement like the ones from the 60's?

I don't think so, the government is far too powerful to let it get that far nowadays. They can quash it before it gets too threatening like they did with OWS.

But we the people have the power!!!!!!

Besides in movements like that, it's the army and police that have to step down and join the people. So it could happen.

I might be too pessimistic. The BlackLivesMatter movement is threatening enough that the government is treating it like a terrorist movement and is referring to its protesters as enemy forces. And they've recently launched a propaganda campaign against Cornel West, who might be the most high-profile activist still principled enough to speak truth to power. So we know they're starting to get scared.

If it keeps getting bigger then something might happen. I hope.

I do sense that something is actually happening. There's definitely momentum. Is anything major going to come from it in the end? Who knows...

I hope so. I do hope they continue and gains massive support.

I read somewhere that in other countries they would go to the police and preach to them. You guys should do that.
