And now for something completely different

So, combination of got a new phone (with slow-Mo and fast-mo?) video capture (galaxy note4 edge for those interested in that sort of thing).. and it was feeding time for my boy, Monty, the Atherton ranges Jungle Python.

So, I decided it would be fun to see what he looked like in slow mo catching the bugger, then in fast motion eating it.. and this is what I came up with after downloading an incredibly difficult to use, but surprisingly functional free video editor.

I like this a great deal.

**edit** wouldn't recommend watching this if you have a weird soft spot for rodents - FTR, the thing was killed humanely before any feeding occurred.

Circle of life and all that - I blame god.

Also - it's a rat, it would take several mice to feed this monster

He's pretty much fully grown now (about 7 years old - got him as a 10 week old neonate) - so, he's about 7 feet long and reasonably thick.
They're arboreal, so have proportionately smaller heads so, when he just stick that out of his hide, he looks surprisingly smaller than he actually is.
