They are extreme libertarians, in other words this is what anarchy looks like when you allow it to show it's face. Still, they've managed to get over a dozen of their people elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives (by basically masquerading as members of both major parties), so they've had some success.

Libertarianism is not anarchism. Libertarianism in the U.S is the same as republicans but wanting to destroy government regulations so they can have a free pass to shit all over the world.

You're cute when you're wrong. But at least you have that "always cute" thing going for you.

Libertarians want a free economy from the state. In the U.S libertarians are capitalists. So they want a capitalist system unregulated by the state. Ron Paul even says that the state should not be giving food stamps and free health care. Wants to dismantle the FED, because according to them, the existence of a central bank IS socialism. That's basically... not anarchism.

I see. I've seen other videos of people banging on about stuff like this before, I just don't know how widespread it is. There was a video of some kid who was having to go to court arguing with the court officals outside the courtroom(Baliffs?) and he was saying he didn't recognise the right of the government to pass judgement on him or something. And he demanded to be allowed to take his video camera into the courtroom. He tried to push past and got tazered.

I checked out their website, and comments in response to Colbert segment. Yep...they're for real. And they legit view the meter enforcers as oppressors.

This particular group has had thousands of their members unite to move to a few small places in New Hampshire (a small state) in an attempt take over politics at the local and state levels since they've had no success at the national level. Regardless of their extreme views, I'm impressed by their commitment and the fact they've already had success when most of them haven't even made the move yet. Personally, I would have chosen Vermont over New Hampshire or moved west to Wyoming, but New Hampshire seems to be working out for them.

They probably only like New Hampshire because of its motto "Live Free or Die".
