I get that they're trying to do a job and the kid makes it more difficult, which is frustrating. As someone who's spent far too many years in customer service talking to dickheads on the phone, it's a pain in the ass trying to troubleshoot or explain a bill with kids screaming in the background, but these guys have a joke job. That makes it hard for me to have too much sympathy.

Sports media is ridiculous these days. They talk about how important Steph's quotes would have been with a perfectly straight face, but are they really serious? These guys used to just report on the game, but now it's like TMZ for sports fans. Fucking paparazzi and shit. I could not give less of a fuck that they couldn't get a good interview.

Journalists take themselves so seriously when most of what they do is inconsequential. You're neither Woodward nor Bernstein, Skip Bayless. This guy actually thinks a post-game press conference is important, and that players should agree? It's nothing but an obligation to them, a bone thrown to the media by the teams so they don't have to do any actual journalism.

Unless Nigel Pearson is involved, that is.
