People keep forgetting that pedophiles can already marry everywhere

...to the kids they're attracted to. They just need to wait a few years. Whereas there are gay couples who wait like 60 years and still aren't allowed to get married.
And isn't the point of pedophilia that they're attracted (often exclusively) to children? Who will, barring rare medical conditions, become adults? So why would a pedophile even want to marry a kid whom he knows with certainty he would cease to find attractive in a few years?
Slippery slope arguments make no sense. >:(

My favourite anti-gay marriage argument is the one that platonic friends of the same sex will start getting married to take advantage of tax breaks etc. As if platonic friends of the opposite sex could not do exactly that already.
