That's basically British summertime. I love the rain but am forced to tut sympathetically when people complain about it so I am not sacrificed on a pyre to the nature gods. Although if you can't get a barbeque to light, you're probably not going to light a pyre anytime soon.

We came out of a 10 year long drought a couple of years back where our states water reserves were down to about 18% .. which aint good in a city with about 4 million people.
So, we're now back to normal "all over the place" Melbourne weather that everyone always complains about - following the drought tho, I cannot bring myself to complain about the rain anymore especially given my garden has officially sprung back to life after 10 years of being a dustbowl.
FTR - it rains almost every day here now but, we're also in the middle of winter so - to be expected.

There used to be this kind of marketing brand thing based on an illustration of a dog named Snatch and I loved him when I was a kid. Snatch bedspread, Snatch wallpaper, cuddly Snatch toys. It... meant something very different when I grew up. My sister still finds it hilarious.
