Best Pictures: Boyhood and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
I would have preferred Foxcatcher and Birdman, but those two were good.
Best Actors: Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) and Michale Keaton (Birdman).
Agree with Keaton, but obviously would have preferred Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler).
Best Actresses: Julianne Moore (Still Alice) and Amy Adams (Big Eyes).
Haven't seen Still Alice yet. I will soon. Adams was good. No complaints.
Supporting: J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) and Patricia Arquette (Boyhood).
Haven't seen Whiplash but it looked like shit to me. No interest, really, but I may be forced to see it to decide if Simmons really did better than Edward Norton (Birdman). Haven't seen the other flicks nominated on the female side except for Birdman and Emma Stone wasn't spectacular in it.
Director: Richard Linklater (Boyhood)
Meh. Alejandro González Iñárritu (Birdman) should have won this, hands down. I'd take Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel) over Linklater, too.
Screenplay: Alejandro González Iñárritu et al (Birdman)
Agreed, from those nominations. Would prefer Nightcrawler or Inherent Vice. Great writing.

Re: Golden Globes
I haven't seen anything. I've got some catching up to do.
Re: Golden Globes
Lots of good flicks this year. Still a few coming within the next couple weeks that will be here in time for Oscar contention.

Still haven't seen Nightcrawler, but that's next on our viewing list.
