Karaoke
So I'm co-hosting a karaoke meetup at this bar tonight. My cohort decided it would be fun to ask those who RSVP'ed what song they'd like to sing, and the two of us would sing it together.
We'll be singing "Let it Go", which as you know, is a perfect match with my Johnny Cash-esque baritone
I'll post a video of the train wreck if someone there takes it.

Re: Karaoke
Do a lounge-singer/doo wop version.
The agonies which are have their origin in the ecstasies which might have been.

I don't think the KJ has a lounge/doo wop version. My choices are butcher the Idina Menzel version or butcher the Demi Lovato version.sikax wrote:Do a lounge-singer/doo wop version.

Re: Karaoke
Just finished singing it.. and I have to say, I wasn't as bad as I thought I was going to be. I usually end up talking rather than singing. I was off a little (because music keyed for a soprano isn't exactly a match for baritone) , but at least I had the cadence down. It wasn't ear bleedingly bad.

The person with me was just there for emotional support (she just yelled out "Let it Go" while I did the heavy lifting)

I once sang Nat King Cole's 'Unforgettable' and was embarrassed 'cause I got a diamond(perfect) score.

Karaoke is something I've always wanted to do but don't have the courage for it.

Liquid courage is all you need.

Ummm... no. I'm a bad drunk, I tend to think everyone is up to rape me. I don't see how me being shy plus paranoid will help.
