It's a song from the only good and almost successful guatemalan rock band about the civil wars in Central America started by U.S. occupations:



EDIT: Also, this was written when war was still going on with us. Not sure about the rest of the countries though.

It definitely has an 80s sound.

Top Gun was the kind of movie where I didn't know if to feel offended or not, my neurons didn't know if to kill themselves or just laugh at it. It was a weird experience. I guess it's the kind of movie it's truly awesome when you are drunk!

Anyway I heard the song on the radio days ago and I thought it was cool considering NOBODY wants to talk about the conflict anymore. I'm middle class, our parents lived through this and some of them see the military governments as "good" or "better" when ALL the oppression and life threatening situations were because of the military...... and I guess the guerrilla too, guerrilla used to kidnap people. We were screwed back then!

I bet the poor Iraqis are going through a similar era. [sad]
