This is so sickening. The guy makes a thread specifically to defend the types of statements that are made by actual rapists in order to excuse their own actions. I know this is nothing new. But it's quite amazing that so many years later, the guy continues to make thread after thread calling out his own awfulness.

I started to link to it but this board has really had enough of that asshole. I haven't ruled out gathering up the LAT and eliminating him and Marv both.

What I find most shocking about this is the kind of brazen cheek it would take to try and get people to believe that Vegas has ever sexually satisfied a woman.

But seriously, I'm amazed that he would stir up old shit for the sole purpose of drawing negative attention to himself, because that is so wildly out of character.

I just learned her name for real in the Robert Plant song you posted. Before that she was the blonde woman that sang with Taylor Swift. So trust me, this is me trying.

I didn't post a Robert Plant song. I posted an Alison Krauss song and Robert Plant was just privileged to be involved.

I've heard this song for ages and didn't know it was her.

That's a cover of a Keith Whitley song from a tribute album. Whitley was a rising star in Country Music back in the 80s until he drank himself to death. He would have likely gone on to be one of the biggest stars in history, he was that good, but he couldn't put the bottle down. It was kind of odd that Alison was somewhat struggling to make it in the business herself at the time and it was that cover, instead of one of her own songs, that shot her to stardom. We have now succeeded in completely hijacking this thread, which is a good thing.

I think I've heard several covers of the song. But her voice makes it sound special.
