My mom hates this piece, but of course Tchaikovsky's pieces are not pianistic and you need the orchestra behind. And basically this is what it is, a very beautiful orchestra piece. Just listen to the first 5 minutes but I recommend the whole thing. One of my favorite Tchaikovsky pieces of all time.
