I'm very familiar with it. Saw the movie ages ago, and watched the netflix series about a week ago. Just wanted to see how you would describe it 'cause it's sort of hard to describe. Very absurdist type of comedy(reminiscent of those old spoofs with Leslie Nielsen). I don't see a lot of movies with that type of comedy these days. Though it started out funny, the "Scary Movie" franchise ruined spoofs for a while.

A spoof comedy I actually kind of like is 'Not Another Teen Movie'.

Yeah it's generally really funny. The show is even funnier than the movie. The show is the very first thing I have seen of Netflix that I would say is good.

I watched about 10 minutes of the show and it was bad. Like really, really bad. Like holy-shit-Adam-Sandler-looks-like-a-genius-now bad. I could tell it wasn't gonna work so I stopped it.
