You thought racism was mostly a thing of the past, eh? Oh, you derail conversations/movements about white supremacy to talk about prejudice and how it goes both ways? You think black people talk about racism too much? You think class is more important than race, and addressing class and money issues will somehow take care of racism? You only dealt with racism on your own terms (if you can get something out of it...or only if it doesn't make you uncomfortable), instead of listening to people who know what they're talking about and having empathy/uplifting their voices? You defend racist things you don't understand and think black people make racism too big a deal? Oh, you laughed when Trump decided to run, and feigned horror whenever he said/did something racist? But you continued to laugh and remain in denial as he grew more powerful. Did you underestimate the power of racist rhetoric to galvanize racist right-wing, blue-collar motherfuckers? Oh, well you thought racism was mostly in the past, so I guess you assumed Trump was just shooting himself in the foot. You continue to underestimate just how racist the GOP is...as if you don't already know. You've got a serious contender retweeting racist statistics and still growing, yet you want to focus on wall street? Still too scared to address racism head on. And you expect to get the black vote that way? The other side is racist as fuck...coming out to vote against black and latino people...that's their primary motivation. Yet, you chose to ignore that and talk about wall street. Because you insist racism is a thing of the past and that dealing with corporations will somehow take care of what you must assume to be some kind of residual racism from the past. Where you seriously fooled by those right-wing fucks pretending they weren't primarily motivated by racism? Even though they basically told us they were in every other way they could? Even though they've consistently sabotaged the government process because of petty racism. You really thought you could make any serious change through government without addressing this racism head on and treating it as a priority? Maybe Trump should become President...maybe then you'll finally open your fucking eyes. Fuck you all.

"First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."
Shallow understanding from people of goodwill is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will."
