Emily Blunt tells a story about Tom Cruise
The way she humanizes his weirdness is impressive. She should be his PR person.

I heard her tell that story on the Graham Norton show, he comes off pretty well in her stories. He's a bit too intense and overly extreme in his reactions at times. Seen him on chat shows over here before and he's just weird. Not sure what to make of him, and the Scientology angle doesn't help.

Yeah...she's a very charming and entertaining story-teller. I could listen to someone like that for hours.
...while eating a peach of course.

Speaking of charming and entertaining...
I just watched this video of Anne Hathaway pretty much putting Matt Lauer in his place with the best segue ever:

I cringed so hard at the beginning when he followed "good to see you" with "seen a lot of you lately."

I couldn't believe he said "seen a lot of you lately." Such a dick move. Also, I agree. I have no idea who those guys are, but the above video was on the 'related videos' list of another clip I had been watching...which was Anne Hathaway and Jon Stewart cracking up together.

David Letterman did almost the exact same thing to Emma Watson, if I remember correctly, although he actually showed the damn picture to the camera. What a tool.

There's this weird condescending, paternalistic thing going on, while playfully referencing the pictures that it comes off like a creepy uncle dad.
But, those guys on that radio show were weirdly angry about it that it seems almost insincere. I think they just hate Lauer. Reminds me of Anakin's post about "appropriating anger".
Never seen the Emma Watson/Letterman one...sounds pretty bad.

It starts a bit before the seven minute mark. Wow, it's even worse than I remembered.

Yeah they really had no reason to get so angry, other than to prove just how very much against Matt Lauer they were. #notallmen. Anne Hathaway dealt with it perfectly and their white knightage seemed fairly pointless.
Letterman/Watson must be uncomfortable viewing. He must be old enough to be her granddad and she was early 20s at the time, right? At least Hathaway is a grown woman.
