April Fools' Day

Post by sikax »

What's the best prank you ever pulled? Or got pulled on?

One of my most memorable was convincing my friend who is a huge Oakland A's fan that I had tickets for Opening Day. He was so excited. Like a puppy. And then I broke his heart. [biggrin]

I don't pull pranks and, generally, people don't pull pranks on me because they know my opinion on practical jokes, i.e. I think all practical jokers should be put into a cannon and fired into the sun.

Life is fun when you're maniacal.

I've never pulled anything and the last time someone pulled something on me was a "Hey what's that on your shirt" prank in elementary school.

When I was 9, our teacher walked into the class and announced that the ministry of education had set an impromptu exam - something of that sort which was plausible enough. Everybody panicked.

The first (and only) question on the paper when we turned it over went something like:
"How do I feel about having been taken in by an April Fool's joke?"

I managed to fool two posters on here before the end of April 1st. It counts if they they get fooled before the end but I don't tell them until after right?

I had a coworker convinced she needed to go pick up her boyfriend at the Sheriff's station at the mall. I was Deputy Perkins on the phone for all of five minutes and she grabbed her purse and was rushing out the door when I called her back inside.
