Furious 7
Furious 7
None of this will make any sense unless you're a fan of the series. I am a huge fan of the series and Paul Walker's death hit me and other fans pretty hard. I've seen the new movie twice and throughout they keep hinting at his character needing to "retire from this life" and whatnot. And the ending is one of the most poignant scenes I have ever seen in how they do send him off. Vin Diesel's character does a voice over that is essentially a eulogy for Paul Walker but is played as a farewell to Paul's character. And it is just so beautiful. I cried SO HARD the first time and cried again the second time (and a girl was there omg
). I mean, if you aren't already a fan of the series you won't find the movie good at all. Honestly. It isn't the best. Pretty good action sequences and some ridiculous stunts, but every fan went to see this for one reason and that's that it's a tribute to Paul. And it's a damn good one. ![smile [smile]](./images/smilies/smile.gif)

Agreed with everything you said in the OP.

I liked the first 2 ok, but never cared enough to see the last 5.

I love the franchise. I know it's going to suck to watch this one knowing Paul is gone. ![sad [sad]](./images/smilies/sad.gif)

My teenage friends (I have teenage friends because I'm really cool and young, yeaaaaaaah) were going to see this tonight and they hadn't seen any of the others so I helpfully summed up the series for them by making a 'vroooom' noise and going 'It's basically that'.

Watched the first one. It didn't take with me. I know it did with a lot of people. That's ok.
