When you call your mom and she lets you know she's got stage one cancer.

I'm sorry Bucky! but stage one is very early and usually treatable. My mom had a stage 4 cancer 20 years ago and she's still here!

Her spirits are up. She's ready to deal with it. She may end up getting a full hysterectomy as it is in her uterus. She's having a procedure on May 27th and, depending on what they find, it can go that way or they could decide on chemo and/or radiation.

Sorry to hear about her cancer, glad she caught it early & is taking steps to deal with it.
