I'm going to say it: the Aladdin sequels are underrated and are actually reasonably good and You're Only Second Rate is one of my favourite Disney songs.

I kind of enjoy the 3rd but the differences in animation between Aladdin & the sequels are noticeable. Plus the second has Dan Castalleneta trying to be Robin Williams.aels wrote:I'm going to say it: the Aladdin sequels are underrated and are actually reasonably good and You're Only Second Rate is one of my favourite Disney songs.
Second Rate I will admit is a good villain song though.
Still no Hellfire. Nothing like a villain singing about rape in a children's movie.

I really like part 3 a lot.

Robin Williams' return probably helped with that.Gendo wrote:I really like part 3 a lot.

It did, but even though it's been a long time since I've seen it now, I remember thinking how great the story and overall feel of the plot and themes were. The whole father-son stuff mostly.Unvoiced_Apollo wrote:Robin Williams' return probably helped with that.Gendo wrote:I really like part 3 a lot.

I saw Return of Jafar as a kid, but it was right on the cusp of when I originally started losing interest in animated movies (before said interest become renewed).BruceSmith78 wrote:Wait, people actually watch those Disney sequels?
I think I watch Aladdin & the King of Thieves when they showed it on TV once a few years ago. It wasn't terrible for what it was.
