You are just giving an opinion from the resentful syndicalist point of view.

She was okay for someone that leaned a little too far to the left.

In 1979 (and through the early 80's) she was probably the sort of leader Britain needed. The Unions had become far too powerful, the economy was in a terrible state, we were spending too much and not making enough money. And she made a lot of tough decisions and sorted a lot of these problems out.

But her early successes fuelled her own sense of self-importance and created an over-bearing dictator who got carried away with her fancies.

And we see history repeat itself...

Tony Blair enjoyed early successes and also became a "Presidential" character who was not interested in cabinet or parliamentary government.

13 years of Labour government brought about a lot of good things, but they "failed to fix the roof when the sun was shining" and when recession hit the coffers were empty and public spending was far too high, so the Tories have to come in and be the nasty party which balances the books again.

And no doubt it'll all happen again in 10 years time when Labour finally get re-elected...

From what I've read which has been limited. Is that even though she stopped inflation and destroyed the unions that were doing strikes every 5 seconds, she also caused a lot of unemployment during austerity, so that is not good.

Besides her free market ideas has shown to have a decrease on economic growth to what was before when she came into power.

EDIT: Also I don't think her policies are the reason why the UK has a progressive, "stable" economy.
