I'm not gonna lie, I got a little misty-eyed watching a couple of the trailers...but this kind of passion is amazing.

But, forreal, it wasn't a letdown in the sense that it at least felt like Star Wars for the first time in decades.

But...it was a bit of a letdown because I already knew it would feel right based on the trailers and everything else, and I just hoped it would be great. It wasn't great, but it was good enough.

I've yet to watch it for the second time, so maybe it will be better with lower expectations.

I've seen it twice and it is indeed a nice, clean fun movie. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, so I can't comment much on if it's, like, good or not, but friends who are huge Star Wars fans have complained that it's essentially a retelling of previous story lines, just replacing old characters with new ones. But, whatever, it's just blockbuster fun.
