There appears to be a military coup going on in Turkey at the moment if anyone's interested.

The cynic in me thinks this might not be all bad. Military governments tend to be less religious and will probably stop/reverse a lot of the religious laws the current regime are trying to impose. And they'll be in a better position to help against ISIS and in Syria. It's also going to put a massive dent in their chances of joining the EU.
But obviously "Democracy", "Human Rights" and all that stuff. And it'll really kill off their already suffering tourist trade so their economy will take a further kicking. So not good.

Whoever wins out here, we can be sure the Kurds will lose.

Apparently, it's over. The coup d'état failed.
Common sense is another word for prejudice.

How the hell did that happen? Lol. It burned out in like two hours.
I'm going to assume it was staged.
