For Dragon or anyone else: Imperialism in the middle east

Post by Dr_Liszt »

When people ask "What policies are oppressing them?" the answer really is "All of them." And I don't know how to explain this because I hardly understand this myself. A friend once asked me "What rules the world?" I jokingly replied "The Iluminatti?" [none] Of course I was wrong, the correct answer is, currency. Currency rules the world.

The United States of America built its economy using imperialist measures. It established itself as a superpower. The United Kingdom did the same before it a long with Spain, France, Netherlands, Belgium, etc. So It's not something new. So what I'm trying to say here is that the whole economic success in the U.S was because of adopting imperialistic measures and conquests.

So the current situation as I understand is this: The World Reserve has the dollar as it's prime currency. You want to trade/import you have to buy U.S dollars, the oil business and the dollar are linked to the point there is a term called "petrodollar" that you have to use to buy and sell oil. This guy explains it better than I do, in less than 5 minutes, how foreign policy is nothing but the tool to keep the dollar as the primary currency, screwing the third world in the process:

In case you don't want to see the video it basically says:
1. Iraq: Saddam Hussein decides to use Euros instead of Dollars as their currency: INTERVENED.
2. Lybia: Gaddafi planned to use the gold dinar instead of Dollar: INTERVENED.

There are many other countries that got intervened when they decided to use a different form of currency. So this is what makes it harder and gains a lot of resentment from people living in the third world, because I know that many of you don't and wouldn't want to see your economy weakened. And sadly in some cases, strengthening our economies could mean a weakening of yours, or at least we will demand fair prices for our resources. Something a lot of countries, wouldn't want to pay.

I would demand at least 1 billion to Canada for our gold, without counting the god knows how many money is the U.S making from our african palm, the electrical plants from Norway, the titanium deal with Spain, etc, etc, etc. We produce a shitload of money, it's really a shame it goes to you people. [roll]

Besides as I said, I hardly understand this so I have an open mind. Maybe the U.S, E.U, NATO and UN are not that bad. [none]
