He never even said that - http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter ... -role-mod/ - and the way Trump supporters are falling over themselves in excitement about it is depressing.

All they had to do was to actually click the link on the tweet and find themselves instead reading an article about Speed that for some reason was fed through a paraphrasing machine, which I know partly because it rendered 'action star' as 'activity saint' and partly because I have the original article.

That entire thread just proves that 99% of people should never be allowed to communicate in any way other than pointing and grunting. Before I stopped reading I counted 6 people mentioning that he never said any of that and fuckwits just kept right on replying as though it was true.

one of those 6 was probably me lol

I searched for 'keanu trump' and found this, which is even worse: https://www.facebook.com/weloveunitedst ... 1717066522

They didn't even bother to link an article for this. They just said that Keanu called liberalism a disease and that's why he hates liberals and stands with Trump. No source, nothing. Lots of people agreeing anyway, and that same quote was re-posted dozens of times on other Trump websites with what looks like hundreds of comments. It's surreal.

also he's Canadian and would likely be baffled at how many Trump supporters are calling him "a true American".

I'm confused. Are you saying that Trump supporters are mind-bogglingly stupid and gullible or something?

As an aside I just rented John Wick. Looking forward to it.

I like Emma Gonzalez and David Hogg. They inspired me to buy an extra thousand rounds of ammo.

The only good thing about those two is how much they're torturing right-wing sociopaths. I'm really enjoying that.

But for the more sane gun-owners they're a virtual Godsend. They'll do more for the rights of law-abiding gun-owners in the next six months than the NRA has accomplished in the last 25 years. I think I could probably have a rational conversation with Emma Gonzalez but David Hogg is such an obvious shitstain I want to slap the taste out of his mouth for no other reason than he exists.

Really? Emma Gonzalez seems a lot worse than David Hogg to me. He just comes across as self-righteous and self-important usually. She comes across as an unlikable bullying narcissist. But I kind of stopped paying attention to them a short while ago.

You forget, I collect lesbians as well as guns. Plus, Hogg's dad is an FBI agent which means Hogg was raised to be a Nazi stormtrooper by a Nazi stormtrooper.

Personally, I didn't find most replies more stupid than the Tweet. But then, I don't use Twitter.

Someone needs to make a new meme to replace "Thanks, Obama", only instead of making fun of Republicans it's making fun of liberals obsessed with blaming every bad thing in this country on Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein, and Susan Sarandon.

I think we can all agree that the NBA is dead now after what happened in the Eastern Conference Finals.

LeThanos annihilated the eastern conference.

More and more people are starting to believe LeBron is truly the GOAT, and beating the warriors in the finals may be his last chance to prove it.

Do you know who was being subtweeted there?

A lot of the "economic anxiety" analysis coming from the left sounds like fascist apologetics and it's frightening.

There is a relationship between economic anxiety and racism...but a lot of leftists seem naive to the nature of that relationship because they have a relatively shallow understanding of race.

Greenwald, of course. Our favorite fake leftist.

You would think, as an outspoken gay left-wing journalist living in Brazil, he wouldn't want to whitewash or downplay what just happened. But that's just who he is, it seems.

wtf Amos Yee https://twitter.com/BTBH_IsraelDope/sta ... 92/photo/1

https://mothership.sg/2018/12/amos-yee- ... k-twitter/

though in a way I'm not at all surprised. The previous international coverage of him was weirdly positive, given all the things (beyond just criticising Lee Kuan Yew) he did here, including falsely accusing the guy who paid his bail of molestation - and publicly ruining his reputation - before owning up, saying he just thought it would be hilarious to see how the media reacted and that everyone was so gullible.
