As you all know by now, I'm willing to do things that will let you question my manhood. This morning, I put myself once again in a position that may cause parents to question my motivations behind attending certain movies. I hope you all appreciate the risks I take to bring you these reviews. So without further ado...
Frozen Fever (short): This short is the lead in to Cinderella (2015). If you enjoyed Frozen, this is a fun little musical short about Elsa trying to catch up on missed birthdays and make Anna's birthday the perfect day. The catch is that for the first time in forever, she gets a cold. Every time she sneezes she creates these miniature snowmen. It's cute and fun and sweet. 8/10
Cinderella (2015): This is Walt Disney's live action mostly direct retelling of their animated classic. The nice thing about this is that it fills in a few holes and makes the mice a lot less prominent (though they and other animals are still someone fantastical in their actions). Lily James is a charming Cinderella & Cate Blanchett does the bilious (I didn't even know I knew this word) step mother justice. The step sisters are never called ugly except with regards to inner beauty. If you like the Cinderella story, you'll like this. If not, not so much. If there is one problem, there's surts of realism that threaten to bog down the fantasy. That said, the movie overall is done well enough. I will say with Richard Madden as the prince, I was ldisappointed there wasn't a Red Wedding. 7/10
And yes, I'll probably get the blu-ray just for the short.

I dunno, as much as I want to criticise your manhood, I think you're probably manlier than me because I wouldn't dare go watch one of those types of films alone for fear of being hauled out by security as some kind of paedophile ![none [none]](./images/smilies/none.gif)

What do you think I meant by "may cause parents to question my motivations"?

I'd suggest borrowing a young family member to take with you, but then it might look like some weird, incestuous, child rapey date.

Yeah...I'm a half Asian male. That's already a strike against me considering their adult proclivities.aels wrote:He didn't necessarily say your family

Run All Night didn't even make its projected take. I think it was a mistake to release another Liam Neeson action movie (that involved protecting/saving his family) so close to Taken 3.
