So, I got trapped in the youtube, movie-trailer-vortex and ran into a trailer called the Age of Adaline. It had Harrison Ford's name on it, and since I've been an insane Indiana Jones/Harrison Ford fan since I was a kid, I was curious. The movie is about a woman who doesn't age past her twenties, and there's a scene where she is reunited with an older Ford who says something like "you remind me of a friend I had when I was younger". Then they cut to a quick scene of a young Harrison Ford that looks a little too much like him that you have to assume it's CGI. It turns out it's not. It's an impressionist named Anthony Ingruber, who I was actually familiar with(I used to watch is Ford impressions on youtube about 5 years ago) but had forgotten all about. I'm surprised a big studio actually decided to cast him in a role as a young Ford. I thought it would be too gimmicky, but I guess the appearance/mannerisms are just too uncanny. Now people are pushing for him to play a young Han Solo, or Indiana Jones in upcoming reboots. What do you think?
Yeah...it's mainly the smile and the eyes. The guy has Ford's trademark grin. I mean he looks more like a young Ford than Ford himself at this point...so I can see why some might not see the resemblance if you don't remember what Harrison Ford used to look like...cause he certainly hasn't looked like that for a while.
Can you imagine looking like a young Harrison Ford only when you smiled? It must get him all the honeys.
