A reminder that the Fresh Prince was great
WORDS IN THE HEART CANNOT BE TAKEN
Re: A reminder that the Fresh Prince was great
Man that final shot of the "Will's Dad" episode when they close in on the statue thing Will got for him. Oh God. Oh God, how I cry. Every time.
The agonies which are have their origin in the ecstasies which might have been.

I think this will be the next thing I watch. Have the whole thing on DVD; seen probably most but not all episodes. I do love sitcoms that can be serious.

Yeah, the Will's dad bit is the best bit. Everything about it is just perfect, which I wouldn't expect from a comedy like that, doing a dramatic bit. It's right up there with the saddest TV moments ever.

Favorite sitcom of all time.
And sadly, I must object to number 13 because it was totally a ploy. I believe he got his friend to hit on her like an ass, so he could swoop in and save the day like a white knight.
So, it appears he simply "learned" how to manipulate women better.![none [none]](./images/smilies/none.gif)

Also #4. "I'm running the same race and jumping the same hurdles you are." So false. Rich black people and non-rich black people may face some of the same issues; but there's a whole bunch of issues that rich black people don't have to face.

Yeah...I had mixed feelings about that one. It's complicated. But, I think it was really more highlighting the problematic idea that some black people aren't "black enough" because of how they dress, talk, etc.
