Ok, I've read most of the Alex Cross series by James Patterson and I have to say to the idiots who cast Morgan Freeman and Tyler Perry as Alex Cross that you suck. Both are such terrible choices for this character as neither even come close to epitomizing the Crossman!

So, I've decided that there must be a new film done on this book character and I have chosen Idris as Cross and The Rock as Sampson. Which reminds me that I think it was really stupid not to cast a Sampson as he's half the equation in these books! The Rock is not my first choice (that would be Mike Duncan but he passed away) but I think he can pull off Sampson well enough. I'm ok with casting Cicely Tyson as Nana Mama as she's a good actress and looks the part to the T.

The rest of the casting is unimportant.

Morgan Freeman is never a bad choice for any role. He's so good that if they were to make a movie about Jefferson Davis then Freeman would be perfect in the lead role.
