Flicks about terrorists breaking into the White House and kidnapping the president that I seen

Recently saw both White House Down and Olympus has Fallen. Definitely the most 2 similar films to come out around the same time that I know of... way more similar than Armageddon vs Deep Impact and such.

Anyway, White House Down was fun. Typical Roland Emmerich-style stuff. Nothing special really, but I enjoyed it. Especially the references to Independence Day, and the details they give about the politics and procedures involved with such situations (even if those details are completely wrong).

Olympus has Fallen was too serious. It had some good suspense, and good hand-to-hand combat, but it was just took itself too seriously. They didn't show as much of the procedures and politics. Also, I really disliked how much both the president and the speaker just gave into the terrorists. You demand that I give you the secret code that could instantly wipe out most of America or else you'll kill me? Ok, here you go. You want us to withdraw our troops so that you can wipe out another country? Ok, just don't hurt the president.

OHF was ridiculous from the start. They set up a mini-gun targeting the entrance to the White House. the almost infinite number of security guards then ran out directly into gunfire, total bottleneck. FFS America

I preferred While House Down as well for those reasons.

The thing that got me about OHF is that the Koreans would have been shot down long before they even reached the Chesapeake (they had to have come in from the east as coming from the west coast...should I just list all the opportunities the military would have to stop them?). That and everything Azaezel just said.

I like Channing Tatum so I was entertained by the one that he was in.
